MEET IZZI BARD
Izzi started his musical journey in a folk duo age 9 with his sister Kuki. With their parents they travelled the world, writing and recording, drawing inspiration from different cultures in places such as India, Morocco, and the UK.
Since then, Izzi has honed his skills as a session musician (guitar, drums, bass) and producer, working with artists such as Nina Nesbitt, Dodie, Orla Gartland, Martin Luke Brown, TesseracT, Haunt the Woods, Jasmine Jethwa, Esoterica, Victoria Canal, Gabriella Cilmi, Primal Scream, Kula Shaker, and many more.
The first version of Wildwire Studios was built around 10 years ago. This acted as a springboard for Izzi to fly the nest and work alongside Peter Miles at Middlefarm Studios before he went on to run Studio B at Fish Factory Studios in London.
After years of working in studios and accumulating knowledge around sustainable technology, Izzi built a vision for what Wildwire Studios could become. It represented a sanctuary in increasingly difficult times, where we are all completely reliant on a supply chain of resources provided to us by people who have proven time after time to have no concern for our wellbeing.
The costs on ourselves and our planet keep rising and Wildwire Studios would like to be an example of how you can exist and create in harmony with nature with no sacrifices to our planet or our art.
